To keep it looking its best, a slightly damp, soft cloth works wonders on everyday marks (alcohol-free baby wipes are quietly brilliant too). Keep it away from perfume, oils and harsh cleaners. Lighter shades love a little extra attention: a quick wipe now and then keeps them box-fresh.
